2018 Temecula Valley Souvenir Posters Now on Sale

With 35 hot air balloons filling the skies above and an interpretive splash of red and sparkling wines, Gayle Durivage’s original pastel artwork was chosen for the 2018 Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival poster. The posters are currently on sale at the Festival office, 41755 Rider Way, Unit 1 in Temecula.

This is Durivage’s second win for the Festival Official Souvenir poster. Her previous winning poster was a pastel and pencil rendition in 2005. Durivage has often been a featured artist in the Temecula Valley, winning the Temecula Street Painting Festival’s Best of Show numerous times for her spectacular 10 foot by 10-foot murals painted onto the asphalt. Durivage most recently completed several murals at Callie Kirkpatrick Elementary in Menifee.

Durivage owns Shadow Dance Glass, a company that features her original fused glass jewelry with intricate one-of-a-kind illustrations, and unique decorative pieces of fused glass made from wine bottles.

The 2018 souvenir posters cost $10. The artist series, a limited edition of signed archivable prints, are $25.

The Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival is June 1-3 and features dawn hot air balloon launches Saturday and Sunday, free morning tethered rides, premium wine tasting, microbrew tasting, food pairing, chef demonstrations, a full international food court, arts and crafts, and a kid’s faire. Friday and Saturday evenings also feature the popular evening balloon glow. All balloon events are weather permitting.
