The Power of Mind – by Cynde Gardner – Dr. Cynde Gardner, CHt, HCHI is a retired veterinarian who owned her own veterinary hospital for many years. After a car accident that resulted in injury to her back, neck, arm and hand causing chronic pain and loss of use, she was forced to retire from actively practicing veterinary medicine. Not willing to be tied down to chronic medications to manage her pain, Cynde discovered that the mind is so powerful that it can be used to successfully manage pain without drugs. That led to her becoming certified in clinical hypnotherapy and obtaining additional special training and certification in management of chronic pain syndromes such as fibromyalgia and thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS).
