Nestlé® Toll House® Café by Chip® officially opened its doors on Friday, April 21. The popular bakery café is located at 40820 Winchester Road, on the upper level of Promenade Temecula.
The brand’s first Temecula café is owned and operated by husband and wife franchisees Rob and Gina Hernandez. They moved to the area from Madison, Wisconsin, last June and have three of their four children among their 20 employees. “Gina and I couldn’t be more excited about opening Temecula’s first Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip and we look forward to becoming an integral part of this community,” said Rob Hernandez. “We invite everyone from the local area to come by and see our beautiful new café. We’ll be waiting with our freshly baked treats and a warm, welcoming environment.:
A special grand opening ribbon-cutting event was held April 21, hosted by the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, Crest Foods CEO Ziad Dalal and COO Shawnon Bellah, mall officials and other local dignitaries. The event kicked off a week’s worth of specials and promotions in celebration of the arrival of the newest Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip and in conjunction with events and promotions promoted by the Promenade Temecula.
The premium dessert destination concept is built around one of the world’s most recognized food brands – Nestlé.
The Temecula café will offer a full menu that’ll include freshly baked cookies, customized cookie cakes, a wide assortment of freshly baked confections, ice creams, wraps, flatbreads, paninis, crepes, mocha frappes and smoothies. “Our savory items have been a pleasant surprise to many of our customers who know our name largely for our cookies,” Rob Hernandez said. “They have been a huge hit with many of the employees in the mall who seem to enjoy another lunch and dinner option during their day.”
The Temecula café marks the 15th Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip in California and among more than 160 worldwide. The café will be open daily during mall hours, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays). With a seating inside and in front of the location and free Wifi, the Promenade’s new café will be the perfect place to take a break from shopping, grab a bite to eat and relax.
