Balanced Breakfast has nothing to do with a morning meal. Instead, it’s a networking group of music industry professionals: musicians, producers, engineers, booking agents and the like. Over breakfast, they discuss actions they can employ to help musicians and industry professionals make money doing what they love.
There are more than 25 chapters of Balanced Breakfast, the latest addition being Temecula Valley. Chapters typically meet once monthly, and the Temecula chapter held its first meeting on June 24th at Franklin’s Cove in Murrieta. Our local chapter is led by Kat Ellis, a local photographer and longtime devotee of live music, Steve Phelps, whose lengthy resume includes Board Chairman of the Temecula Valley International Jazz Festival and yours truly, Tom Plant, music aficionado and former disc jockey.
There’s no cost to join Balanced Breakfast, only a desire to meet with others who share a passion for music. Breakfast will be available for purchase.
