The City of Temecula is pleased to welcome Round 1 Bowling and Amusement, a family friendly, state of the art entertainment center to the City. Round 1 will be occupying nearly 50,000 square feet on the first floor of the Sears building located inside the Promenade Mall.
Seritage Growth Properties, a national owner and developer of retail and mixed-use projects, owns the Sears’ building. Seritage is redeveloping the property to accommodate Round 1 as well as small shop retail and restaurants. Sears will continue to operate in a consolidated and renovated store on the second floor.
“We enthusiastically welcome Round 1 to the Temecula Valley. They will be a wonderful addition to our community and offer a quality, entertainment amenity that our residents have been asking for” says Temecula’s Mayor, Matt Rahn.
“The addition of Round 1 is just another example of how the Promenade is evolving with current retail trends, providing a well-balanced mix of retailers, restaurant offerings and entertainment” says the Promenade’s General Manager, Jeff Kurtz.
“We are excited to have Round 1 anchor our redevelopment of the Sears store at Promenade Mall. Once complete, the multi-tenant retail destination we are creating will provide an elevated shopping and entertainment experience for the community,” says Mary Rottler, Executive Vice President of Leasing and Operations at Seritage.
The entertainment center, which plans to open in Spring 2019, will offer bowling, arcade games, billiards, party rooms, ping-pong and dining. The addition of Round 1 is expected to bring 70-80 new jobs to the upscale, lifestyle center.
