Riverside County’s Only News Source Has Big Plans For 2nd Season
Riverside County’s go-to source for news and information – Spectrum of Innovation TM (SOI), is wrapping up its first season with plans to expand its broadcast audience for Season 2. SOI is regarded as Riverside County’s economic development, infrastructure, transportation, education and “need-to-know” source for its citizens, and businesses. They are excited to announce they have inked a deal with The City of Murrieta to carry this Magazine Style News Program to its residents.
Spectrum of Innovation TM brought to you by JDS Creative Academy, the Non-Profit 501(c) (3) for Visual, Performing & Digital Arts, announced last month its partnership with the City of Temecula’s Economic Development Department to produce independent content for their community access television outlet – Channel 3. This month they have confirmed the same partnership with the City of Murrieta whose local community access television outlet will also begin carrying the monthly News & Information Program in July on Thursday’s at 5:30pm and Saturday’s at 1:00pm, with Season 2 launching August 22nd and continuing to stream live on their Facebook Page & YouTube Channel: Spectrum of Innovation TM. Catch up on the 1st Season by watching the original nine episodes or catch an individual story of interest on their website: spectrumofinnovation.org.
JDS Creative Academy Founder, Diane Strand explains how SOI impacts the community. “We are really excited to be able to bring Spectrum of Innovation to more houses in the community. With the help of these new outlets, more people will be in the know as we share stories of the region. We think the Temecula and Murrieta residents will enjoy our in depth look at the county and the issues that impact their communities, families and businesses on a daily basis…from the new State-Wide Solar Mandate, to excellent places in Riverside County to enjoy on a Stay-cation, to the history of the area, Economic and Infrastructure Issues, just to name a few. We go to the experts to find the answers our viewers need to hear.”
“In producing SOI, JDS Creative Academy (JDSCA) brings together a unique crew of staff industry professionals, apprentices, and Inland Regional consumers with autism and developmental disabilities in a video production job training program. We are creating a first of its kind show and workforce training program for the region, and are thrilled to be taking the lead in Riverside County to create career pathway advancement into the digital high-tech industry, along with job training skills and placement for an underserved population,” according to Strand.
