A Warm Fall Evening of Art, Culture & Entertainment featuring Local Artists, Live Music, and Free Refreshments. The City of Temecula Community Services Department’s Arts & Culture Team will host an artist reception and art show, with live music, and refreshments on Friday, October 4th at Art Off The Walls, in The Merc and at The Lot on Main.
This free monthly gathering of artists and musicians has quickly become a popular First Friday night activity for residents and visitors to enjoy as they stroll through Old Town Temecula on their way to dinner to a performance at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, or to enjoy music and spend time with friends at one of the many nightspots in Old Town.
The Gallery at The Merc will feature popular local photographer Matthew Burlile, whose incredible photographs of the Temecula Valley and Southern California have garnered high praise and a strong following in several on-line communities. Mr. Burlile will be present at the artist reception to discuss his work.
Complimentary refreshments will be provided. Also, in the Cabaret-side of The Merc there will be multiple artists exhibiting work in various mediums, with indie rock keyboard music provided by Kate Russell. Outside in The Lot on Main, more artists will be displaying their latest creations, while artist and steel pedal guitarist Kelly Moore will provide the background sounds as guests stroll through the lot, enjoying the works of art.
Visiting Art Off the Walls helps support our growing local arts community. These creative community gatherings provide opportunities for local artists to display their fine art and local entertainers to perform for guests and share their talents with Temecula’s residents and visitors.
