Temecula Theater’s 15th Season of Classical Music launches on Saturday, January 4th at 7:30pm with the return of world-renowned concert pianist and lecturer, Jeffery Siegel: Keyboard Conversations®. Mr. Siegel’s popular and lively commentary has been captivating audiences for decades, making musical masterpieces more accessible and meaningful for all. Each piece is performed in its entirety, followed by a ‘question and answer’ session after the concert. Temecula’s 2019-2020 Classical Music Series continues on Saturday, February 1st at 7:30pm with the Thalea String Quartet.
From living rooms to concert stages around the world, Thalea String Quartet aims to connect with audiences on a musical, emotional, and personal level; from first-time listeners to string quartet aficionados. They are devoted to building a new and diverse audience for chamber music through innovative programming and community engagement.
The Season concludes with international classical guitarist Pablo Sáinz-Villegas: Americano Trio, performing on Saturday, March 7th at 7:30pm. Known for his passionate, emotive, and open-hearted playing, whether he is performing in intimate recital halls or playing to an audience of over 85,000 at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid with beloved tenor Plácido Domingo – who has hailed Pablo as “the master of the guitar.” Praised as “the soul of the Spanish guitar,” he has become a worldwide sensation known as this generation’s great guitarist.
Temecula Presents’ 15th Season of Classical Music also features guest music teachers from the Temecula Valley Conservatory of the Arts providing additional arts education opportunities and post-performance talkbacks with these professional artists.
