Food is not just nourishment for the body; it is nourishment for the soul. Leah Delyte of E.A.T Marketplace (Extraordinary Artisan Table) is especially passionate about food’s place in our lives. It is, after all, what we are made of. The food that is created at E.A.T seeks to remind people of getting back to the table and just how wonderful Good, Simple & Locally Foraged foods are!
There is something special about Martha Brady-Moonrise Farms or Phil Noble-Sage Mountain Farms, and walking thru the doors of E.A.T with freshly harvested produce. Chefs prepare the menu for the week, based on what local farmers are growing. That is in itself a very special treat for our community. “Its not about being gourmet or expensive, it’s about the detail, the passion and the goodness that our local agriculture has to offer us. It’s right here in our backyard…and we get to EAT it!” Chef Leah.
Meet old friends, and make new ones at E.A.T Marketplace which is open Tuesday-Friday (lunch & dinner) 10am-7pm and Saturday (breakfast & lunch) 8am-3pm.
