Children’s Museum to Receive 30 Tons of Snow

AE-snowmuseumWinter Wonderland has become a highly anticipated holiday tradition for families in the Temecula Valley. Thousands of people are expected to celebrate the season on Friday, December 12 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm by playing in real snow, making crafts, sipping on hot cocoa, and enjoying the popular homemade S’mores at the annual Winter Wonderland, hosted by Friends of Temecula Children’s Museum and The City of Temecula.

The Professor’s assistant, Beaker, will for one night only invite children to crawl into his basement and shop for mom and dad’s gifts. No parents allowed – you don’t want to find out what you’re getting! There will be games, face painting, popcorn, a Winter Princess, holiday music and a festive night for everyone. Please bring an unwrapped gift for a girl or boy, ages 2-15, and drop it in the trolley for the Spark of Love Toy Drive.

Tickets are available online for pre-purchase and strongly recommended at www.pennypickles.org. Most activities are 1-3 tickets with each ticket at a one dollar value, there is no admittance fee.

The west side of Main Street will be closed, so arrive and enjoy the shops and restaurant in Old Town. For more information, please call (951) 308-6376, or visit www.pennypickles.org.
