Inland Valley Symphony presents the 2014-2015 Season

“Patriotic Celebration,” a free concert for the City of Temecula on Veteran’s Day, November 11th at 6:30 p.m. will be staged in front of the Civic Center, with a patriotic program full of music from America’s past and present with a special guest vocalist. Bring your own chairs, blankets and snacks. Highlights will include the “1812 Overture,” and a terrific brass section feature, “Fanfare to the Common Man” by Copland.

“A Soulful Christmas” is the theme of this year’s holiday concert slated for December 13th at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the Gershwin Performing Arts Center (Murrieta Mesa High School) and will feature the Sylvia Cotton Singers performing stylized Gospel renditions of new and traditional holiday songs. The program also features music from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker,” “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” “March of the Toys,” and “Fantasia On Greensleeves” featuring IVS flutist Kate Prestia-Schaub.
