Bully Burgrz Opens in Murrieta

Dave Daley, owner and taste tester, opened Bully Burgrz,a burger restaurant, with fresh affordable comfort food that does not hide behind the bun.

Dave, an entrepreneur originally from Philly, with the help of a chef from Texas, decided it was time for burger places to stop hiding behind the bun and return that delicious bite of meaty heaven back to its rightful place on the food chain. That meant there would be no shortcuts taken. No shortchanging of ingredients.

Instead, Bully Burgrz are made from over ½ lb. of 100% pure, lean beef, freshly ground on-site, all natural ingredients, and a special blend of seasonings. Each burger is handmade, grilled to mouth-watering perfection, then topped (and bottomed) with a fresh bun. Dave says, “we don’t know whether to put cots in the back or treadmills.”

The menu features a single or a double of the Bully Bare, the Bully Best with signature cheez sauce, the Bully Buster with signature cheez sauce & chili, and the Bully Bowl with signature cheez sauce over a bed of fresh greenz. Offering not one, but three signature cheez sauces, plain, spicy and bacon-cheez, Bully Burgrz is definitely not short on options. But, the menu doesn’t stop there. It offers hot dawgz, grilled cheez on texas toast, friez, milkshakez and a menu specifically for the kidz.

When you visit, Bully Burgrz, you will find yourself surrounded by positive affirmations on the wall as well as the icon of our pit bull mascot. Dave, an avid pit bull lover and current owner of Tua, made sure there was plenty of outdoor seating at Bully Burgrz so that the restaurant could be 100% dog friendly.

Since it opened to the public on February 23rd, Dave welcomes all comments, suggestions, and feedback. “We want the community to be as proud of Bully Burgrz as we are,” says Dave, who takes time to go over the menu with his customers and isn’t afraid to pitch in and fill the ice machine or vacuum.

Of course, Bully Burgrz plans on giving Murrieta more than just delicious old-fashioned burgrz, they also plan on giving back to the community whenever possible. Dave is already sponsoring RAGE girls softball and the ‘Murrieta Field of Honor’ as well as teaming up with ‘4 Paws for Patriots’, Temecula Tuesdays, & UpLift Comics, an anti-bullying organization.

The Bully Burgrz name and logo will be known for supporting the underdog. Their plans include giving support to anti-bullying programs, pit bull rescue groups, the Wounded Warriors Project, and Make-A-Wish Foundation. They also plan on using local vendors and businesses whenever possible.

Open every day from 11am to 8 pm, Bully Burgrz is constantly expanding with additions to the menu, new t-shirt designs, as well as a pupz menu that is in the works for the dogs. Stop by and see if you and your taste buds don’t agree that Bully Burgrz truly is elbow-lickin’ good!
Bully Burgrz is located at 24660 Jefferson Avenue in Murrieta.
