The 15th Annual Gourd Art Festival will be held this year on Saturday, June 25th 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, June 26th 2011, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attractions will include:
Over 40 gourd art exhibitors, hands-on gourd grafting arena, nationwide gourd art competition, a wine and beer garden, gourd art demonstrations, delicious food and refreshments, live entertainment Saturday by top hula dance troops, selection of over 150,000 dried gourds, over 25 gourd art classes, face painting and balloon animals for the kids and a gourd hat competition.
Adults are $12 at the gate or $9 if purchased in advance. Children 12 and under admitted free.
The Welburn Gourd Farm is located at 40635 De Luz Road in Fallbrook.
