Oak Grove Center to Host 13th Annual Golf Classic

Participants Have an Opportunity to Win a Spot in The Lexus Champions for Charity National Championship Golf Tournament

Oak Grove Center for Education, Treatment & The Arts will host what has become a Signature Golf Event in the valley, on Monday October 26, 2015, at The Award Winning Journey at Pechanga Golf Course. Presented by Lexus of Riverside, this 13th Annual Golf Classic and So-Cal Chef Open kicks off a day of fun on the links followed by an evening of delectable dishes as Award Winning Chefs from all over Southern California compete in Oak Grove’s 8th Annual So-Cal Chef Open – to be crowned the 2015 People’s Choice So-Cal Chef. Both of these events are designed to drive support for the athletic and sports programs of Oak Grove.

144 Golfers get the ball rolling with a 10am shotgun start. Entry fees include a golf cart, range balls, lunch, goodie bag and golfer gift – PLUS a ticket for the So-Cal Chef Open that kicks off at 4:30pm in Pechanga’s Grand Ballroom. As the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s 13th Annual Golf Classic and So-Cal Chef Open, Lexus of Riverside is awarding a Hole In One Winner with a 2 Year Lease on a Gorgeous Lexus RX350. Participants will also have the opportunity to bid on a chance to play in the prestigious Lexus Champions for Charity National Championship Golf Tournament in Pebble Beach, California, December 9 – 13th, 2015, for a $100,000 charity purse. This package will be auctioned off during the Chef Open, and includes an amazing hospitality package with meals and golf fees for the 3-day, 54-hole tournament, with 18 holes per day using Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill, and The Links at Spanish Bay.

The doors open in Pechanga’s Grand Ballroom at 4:30pm with over 500 attendees expected for the evenings’ 8th Annual So-Cal Chef Open. This stand-alone event has grown in stature and popularity with culinary selections sure to delight the taste buds as participants enjoy a wide variety of dishes prepared by chefs from the Temecula Valley to Pasadena – San Diego to Carlsbad and everywhere in between. Patrons will be casting their votes for the coveted “People’s Choice” winner while celebrity judges determine who the “Pinnacle Award Winning” chef for 2015 will be, all while enjoying performances from some of Oak Grove’s aspiring students.

So-Cal Chef Open tickets will be available at participating restaurants leading up to the event, and at the door. Sponsorship opportunities are available for both events.
