Thornton Champagne Concert Series

When the Thornton Winery Champagne concert series began in 1988, little did anyone realize it would grow into the world-class sensation it is today. 2016 will mark the 28th year of Champagne Concerts at Thornton.

A quick look at some of the performers who have graced the Thornton stage in the past will give you a sense of what to look forward to this season – Bobby Caldwell, Kenny G, Dave Koz, Brian Culbertson, Boz Scaggs, Al Jarreau, America. The list goes on and on.

“We look forward to a great new season with new artists, too – come and enjoy with your family and friends,” said Thornton Winery president Steve Thornton.

Concert-goers have a choice of different ticket packages, from open air general admission to the gourmet supper package which includes a delicious dinner at Café Champagne. The concerts are fun, upbeat and full of positive energy and good vibes.

Champagne Concert Series Manager, Tonya Wake says “The concerts come across as small and quaint. It’s outdoors, which people like, and the venue allows them to feel like they’re part of a great event.” Each concert sees about 650 in attendance and many return again and again. It’s not unusual for people to come from Arizona and Nevada, just to experience the sensation that is Champagne Concerts at Thornton Winery.

The winery is nestled on 20 acres in Temecula’s rolling wine country.  It’s an opportunity to sip on Thornton’s award-winning wines while listening to what Tonya calls “A-list” performers. The 2016 lineup is available on line at www.thorntonwine.com/ Thornton Winery is located at 32575 Rancho California Road in Temecula.
