Balloon & Wine Festival Strikes Gold Again

The 2016 Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival struck solid gold once again at the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) during the IFEA Annual Convention & Expo on September 26th. Coming home with four awards – three Gold Pinnacles (top honors) and one silver, the 2016 Festival proved once again that this event is BIG on promotion and utilizing technology to communicate with their fans.

Gold Pinnacle awards, (top honors) went to the 2016 Festival media relations campaign, digital marketing campaign, and the 2016 media kit. The Festival’s newly designed website won a Silver award.

Melody’s Ad Works, Inc. of Wildomar, the Festival’s public relations firm, created the award-winning media relations campaign, digital marketing campaign, and press kit.  This is the fourth straight year that the Festival has won best media relations and best press kit.  Judging is based upon measured results which include advertising equivalent value of the campaign, percentage of the target audience captured in ticket sales, and return on investment for the event by increased revenue.  Melody’s Ad Works, Inc. has created the program all four years.
