You never forget the first time someone tells you they’re scared to go home. It’s a moment that changes everything. It reminds you that behind every storefront, school, and family barbecue, someone could be carrying the silent weight of survival. At SAFE Family Justice Centers, we exist for those moments—and for everything that comes after.

Since 1998, SAFE FJC has served as a safe entry point for individuals and families impacted by interpersonal violence. But in the rush of everyday life, even longstanding resources can fade into the background. We’re here to say clearly: we haven’t gone anywhere. In fact, we’re doubling down on our mission.

We are more than a service provider. We are a space where survivors are believed. Where systems come together—advocates, law enforcement, social workers, counselors, legal aid—to meet people where they are and help them move forward. All under one roof. All without judgment.

We’re also investing in the future. Through trauma-informed programs like Riverside County PAL and Camp HOPE, we are giving youth a place to heal, grow, and lead. Because prevention doesn’t start in policy rooms—it starts in communities, in classrooms, and around kitchen tables.

Our job is to make safety easier to access, and to ensure survivors don’t have to navigate a complicated system alone.
