The Temecula Valley Learning Forum meets the first Tuesday of the month at Mercedes-Benz of Temecula located at 40910 Temecula Center Drive in Temecula from 9:00 – 10:00 am. The mission of The Temecula Valley Learning Forum is to provide a platform to keep our local community informed of issues, such as health care, taxes, local government, tourism, expansion and development that directly affect them.
Our speaker September 6th is Lee Bejar. He is a Senior Patrol Agent with U.S. Border Patrol and has been with the agency for 29 years. He has studied at San Diego State University for 4 years. Business Administration (Major) Spanish (Minor). He has worked in Calexico, California, Bellingham, Washington; Charleston, South Carolina and beautiful Temecula, California.
Lee has had a few different assignments during his career i.e. ATV, Bike Patrol, Prosecutions Officer, Criminal Alien Program coordinator, Intelligence agent, Intermediate Force Instructor, Physical Technique Instructor, Oral Hiring Boards Instructor, Special Response Team (SRT), Drug Enforcement Administration Liaison Agent, Peer Support and Border Community Liaison Agent.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control, and protection of our Nation’s borders at and between the official ports of entry. CBP is charged with keeping dangerous people and capabilities out of the country while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.
