The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce recently held a special ribbon cutting ceremony for Effinger Communications, according to Lynn Effinger, Principal of the Temecula-based company. What made it “special” was the fact that Effinger decided to hold the ceremony during a mobile blood drive in the parking lot of Red Lobster restaurant. The blood drive was co-hosted by Red Lobster and the Kiwanis Club of Temecula Valley where Effinger serves as President Elect and will become President on October 1st.
“Having once worked for LifeStream Blood Bank as the Area Representative for the greater Temecula Valley, I have remained loyal to their lifesaving endeavors and thought this would be a great way to promote those efforts, as well as promoting Red Lobster and my company at the same time,” said Effinger.
According to Effinger, his company is the vehicle through which he promotes his motivational speaking activities, seminar leadership and his content writing services. “I have been involved in marketing, advertising and public relations for over three decades, and have been giving my motivational presentation, The Power of Perseverance, to various audiences across the country for just as long,” said Effinger. “My passion for community service led me to join the Kiwanis Club of Temecula Valley two years ago and I immediately convinced club members that we should host mobile blood drives periodically as part of our community service efforts.”
Effinger, who is widely known as an outgoing, enthusiastic, and personable member of our community, also serves as an Ambassador for the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce.
He is a strong advocate for chamber membership and wanted to have the ribbon cutting to bring additional positive attention to the organization, while also demonstrating how much he values being a member of the Chamber.
“If you are looking for ways to increase your company’s visibility in the community, one of the best ways that I know of is to be an active member of the Chamber,” said Effinger, who is also the author of his memoir, Believe to Achieve – The Power of Perseverance.
Representatives from State Senator Jeff Stone’s office, Riverside County Supervisor Chuck Washington’s office, and United States Congressman Duncan Hunter’s office presented certificates of appreciation to Lynn Effinger at the ceremony.
