Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club is a Local Service Organization serving the needs of the Temecula Valley Community and of the World through Rotary International.

Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club is part of one of the greatest international organizations in the world. Rotary International was founded in 1905 in Chicago and is the oldest service organization in the world. Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club was chartered in 1987.

Temecula Sunrise Rotary consists of local business leaders working to address various community and international humanitarian projects. The club encourages high ethical standards in all vocations and helps build good will and peace in the world through the “Ideal of Service.” Rotarians live by THE FOUR WAY TEST of the things we think, say or do: Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? The Rotary objective is to encourage and foster the “Ideal of Service” as a basis of worthy enterprise.

In the many years of its existence, the club has had many programs benefiting the Temecula Valley, and the world. The club has awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships to local students, including at risk individuals; conducts a literacy program for 3rd grade students at two Title I elementary schools; sends many local 7th grade and 11th grade students to Rotary Leadership Camp (PRYDE and RYLA); sponsors the Interact service club at Chaparral High School; sponsors select high school musicians in the Rotary District 5330 Music Competition; selects talented high school students in the Rotary Four Way Test speech competition; and played a role in the building of Rotary Park located next to the Boys and Girls Club in Old Town Temecula. Some of the club’s other favorites include in The Annual 10K, 5K and 2K Run through the Vineyard at Maurice Car’rie Winery in Temecula. The 32nd Run will be held on April 27, 2019, and the annual Safety Town Program which educates children in many aspects of personal safety will be held again in June. With the support of the City of Temecula and other local Rotary Clubs, the Club will again hold its 25th Annual Temecula Community Christmas Dinner at the Mary Phillips Senior Center in Old Town Temecula, on December 25, 2019. The purpose of this event is to have dinner together and share community spirit with those who are alone for the holidays or for those who just want a bit of holiday cheer.

Temecula Sunrise Rotary meets at Journey’s End at Pechanga, the golf course restaurant for breakfast at 7:30 am every Tuesday. We would welcome you to become a part of our Temecula Sunrise Rotary “Superstars.”
