Event is free to the public
Professional Women Toastmasters (www.professionalwomen.toastmastersclubs.org), invites residents to its open house to meet members and watch speakers talk about what Toastmasters means to them and the importance of communication and leadership skills for today’s professional.
“Professional Women Toastmasters provides a supportive, friendly, fun and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills,” says Mary O’ Dwyer, Club President for the Professional Women Toastmasters Club. Guests will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include prepared speeches, Table Topics™ (impromptu speeches – this is where guests and members are randomly selected to speak for one to two minutes. It helps you think and speak clearly on your feet) and Evaluations (feedback to help our members grow in their presentation skills).
Members of Professional Women Toastmasters include Authors, Fitness Coaches, CPAs, Entrepreneurs, Human Resource Professionals, and more.
