Since retiring from industry, Bob and his wife Dr. Mona Davies in 2000 founded Community Outreach Ministry, a non-profit charity in Wildomar serving at-risk kids and needy families. The Outreach raises scholarships for at-risk kids to participate in life-changing summer camp activities, mentor protégé workshops for children and families, and the annual Angel Tree Christmas Party. The organization is meeting a big need in children’s lives impacted by parental incarceration in Riverside County. The mission is helping to break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, drugs, gangs and incarceration by giving at-risk kids a second chance to be winners and champions with a better and brighter future.
Bob and Dr. Mona Davies have four adult children and eight grandchildren residing in Seattle. On sunny days you can find Bob on his motorcycle in and around Riverside and San Diego Counties.
