The City of Menifee is dedicated to supporting and encouraging small business growth in an effort to maintain the community’s high quality of life. In keeping with this goal, the City’s Economic Development Department has created a Business Resource Guide for small businesses, entrepreneurs and start-ups. The guide contains details on development processes in the City as well as resources that are available at the local, state and federal levels.
“It is part of our strategic business gardening plan to help nurture the growth and development of our business community,” said City Manager, Armando Villa. “Our City Council is very focused on creating a community in which businesses are encouraged and incentivized to grow along with our City.”
The resource guide also contains information on how to start a small business in the city, including how to choose your business structure and write a viable business plan. It also consolidates vital resource information relating to international trade and exporting, high technology, financing programs, workforce development and training.
“Working with business owners every day we saw a need for this resource,” said Economic Development Director, Gina Gonzalez. “One of the benefits of doing business in Menifee is our streamlined processes and this is just another example of everything we’re doing to make it easier and more efficient to do business in the City.”
