The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Emily Falappino will succeed Alice Sullivan as the new TVCC President/CEO. This comes after months of rigorous search that began in Temecula’s own backyard then eventually spanned to include an outreach that would become nationwide.
“Emily Falappino is going to be that person who will not only build on what Alice Sullivan so masterfully executed, but she will take the chamber to whole new heights”, stated Brian Connors, TVCC Chairman of the Board. “Our selection committee was thoroughly impressed, and our board of directors voted unanimously for her hire. Her impeccable standards, professionalism, and integrity were unmatched. Besides, she is homegrown right here from Temecula. Her understanding of our local economy, her existing commitment to our Valley, and her connections with the City and Tourism community became important factors in our decision process.”
A graduate of Temecula Valley High School, Falappino has been with Stryder Transportation and Grapeline, Inc. since 2006 and has held the position of General Manager since 2012. She is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and holds an MBA from Cal State San Bernardino, Summa Cum Laude. With contributions stemming from the City of Temecula’s Economic Development to Visit Temecula Valley, Falappino has made a career of invoking the highest quality in service and productivity. Her professional accolades include Star of the Valley Award Recipient as the Most Driven Professional and TVCC’s Valley Young Professional of the Year Award.
“I am incredibly honored to have been selected as the new President/CEO,” stated Emily Falappino. “I have such deep respect and gratitude for Alice Sullivan, the TVCC Staff, the TVCC Board of Directors, and their work together. It is a privilege to lead this incredible group of individuals. They have proven to be a force field of professional development and service – a tradition of excellence that I look forward to continuing. My respect for the TVCC is surpassed only by my admiration, respect, and appreciation for our local businesses, our local entrepreneurs, and our local workforce. Temecula Valley is a wonderful community and a thriving economy because of the individuals who contribute their time, efforts and investment here. I want to ensure that we – as the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce – continue to create opportunities, resources, and collaborations that give our workforce, our business owners, and our local economy everything needed to thrive.”
The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce has more than 1,000 members and continues to attract new business as well as retain long-standing relationships upwards of 40 years and more. “Our commitment to promote positive economic growth and support programs which preserve and improve the quality of life for our entire community is at the heart of who we are and what we do,” stated Connors. “We are excited about this new chapter for the chamber. We’ve done some pretty amazing things over the years, and we know there stands in front of us an opportunity for even brighter days ahead.”
The changeover from Alice Sullivan to Emily Falappino will take place during the month of October. “The TVCC operations and staff are fully functioning and will experience a seamless transition,” stated Connors.
