Supervisor Chuck Washington Seeks Applicants

Volunteer Council Advises County on Issues in Temecula Valley Wine Country.

Riverside County Supervisor Chuck Washington is looking to fill a vacant seat on County Service Area 149 Advisory Council. 

Members of the County Service Area 149 Advisory Council makes recommendations on road maintenance, budgetary items and other matters that affect County Service Area 149. The council’s recommendations may be taken into consideration when the Riverside County Board of Supervisors votes on issues pertaining to this region.

Members must be at least 18 years old and registered voters who live or own real property within the boundaries of County Service Area 149. Residents who live or own property in County Service Area 149 will see it listed as an item on their property tax bill.

Members must be able to attend monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of the month at Callaway Winery (32720 Rancho California Rd.) when normal meetings resume. Currently, meetings are held virtually due to COVID-19. All members serve without compensation or reimbursement of expenses. Members must adhere to the Ralph M. Brown Act.
