Temecula Community Recreation Center (CRC), located at 30875 Rancho Vista Road, is preparing for some much-needed major renovations and facility enhancements. The CRC has closed to the public temporarily while staff prepare the building for construction. Renovations are set to begin at the end of October 2022, and consists of three separate phases. This first phase will include a new roof, new flooring throughout the facility, improvements to the kitchen, and ADA upgrades. These repairs and renovations are quite extensive, and the facility is not scheduled to re-open until the completion of the first phase in the Spring of 2023. The facility will have to shut down for the subsequent phases, but those dates are yet to be determined.

Most of the programs at the CRC have been moved to other facilities or will pause until the building reopens in the Spring of 2023. Temecula’s CRC is the home of the Teen Zone which will now be operating on Tuesdays from the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library (30600 Pauba Road). The Teen Zone will also meet on select Thursdays outside at the Temecula Skate Park (42569 Margarita Road). The Teen Zone calendar with all dates and activities can be found online at TemeculaCA.gov/TeenZone. The basketball gym will remain closed and the programs that took place in the gym will be paused until the reopening.

These renovations will refresh, maintain, and update Temecula’s CRC so that we can better serve our community. We thank our residents and visitors for their patience and understanding during this fall to spring season. We look forward to welcoming you back in the new year!
