recently celebrated a heartwarming milestone as four families received the keys to their new Habitat homes during a special home dedication ceremony. The event, held with smiles, tears of joy, and heartfelt gratitude, marked a significant step in these families’ journeys toward stability and independence.
The ceremony highlighted the power of partnership, as community leaders and local organizations gathered to honor the work that made these homes a reality. Special thanks were extended to the City of Perris, the City of Menifee, NPHS (Neighborhood Partnership Housing Services), and Neighborhood Housing Services of the Inland Empire for their invaluable support. Together, these partners have demonstrated the impact of collaboration in addressing the critical need for affordable housing in our region.
“This dedication is more than just handing over keys; it’s about opening doors to opportunity,” said Tammy Marine, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley. “These homes represent hope for a brighter future, and we are grateful to everyone who has supported us in this mission.”

Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley has been serving local communities for decades, providing not just housing but also empowerment and a sense of belonging. Through volunteer labor, donations, and community partnerships, the organization builds, renovates and preserves homes, offering families a chance to own a decent and affordable place to live or sustainably age in place. Over the years, the organization has positively impacted countless lives, fostering stability and economic mobility for families across Southwest Riverside County.
As the organization reflects on the success of this year, it also looks ahead to an exciting new chapter. In 2025, Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley will begin construction on six new homes on Pujol Street in Temecula. These homes symbolize hope for families waiting to turn their dreams of homeownership into reality.

“The upcoming Pujol Street project will be a beacon of possibility for families seeking a fresh start,” Marine said. “We’re eager to continue our mission of building homes, communities, and hope.”
Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley’s work is a testament to the transformative power of community-driven action. The organization relies on the support of donors, volunteers, and partners to fulfill its vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Whether it’s swinging a hammer, making a financial contribution, or collaborating as a corporate partner, there are many ways to make a difference.
“None of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers and generous supporters,” Marine added. “You are the foundation of every home we build.”
As the day drew to a close, the new homeowners expressed their heartfelt thanks, sharing how these homes will change their lives for generations to come. The ceremony was a poignant reminder of the profound impact that affordable housing can have on individuals and communities alike.
