The City of Menifee and Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley are joining forces once again for the annual Menifee Better Together event, a day dedicated to service, community pride, and impactful change. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with check-in at 29725 Bradley Road, Sun City, CA 92586. Volunteers will gather to participate in a variety of projects aimed at improving the lives of residents, enhancing public spaces, and fostering a spirit of community engagement.
Transforming Homes, Parks, and Neighborhoods
One of the key components of Menifee Better Together is its commitment to home revitalization. In partnership with Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley, more than 20 homes will receive much-needed yardwork, painting, and beautification efforts. These projects provide homeowners—especially seniors and those in need—with safer, more comfortable living conditions, reinforcing Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
In addition to housing projects, volunteers will contribute to park beautification initiatives, ensuring that Menifee’s public spaces remain clean, vibrant, and welcoming for residents of all ages. This year’s focus areas include:
- Gale Webb Action Sports Park Beautification
- Silver Star Park Beautification
- Central Park Mulch Replacement
- E.L. Pete Petersen Park Beautification
These efforts will involve landscaping, painting, cleanup, and other enhancements to create enjoyable recreational spaces for the entire community.
Community Cleanup for a Cleaner, Greener Menifee
Environmental stewardship is a core aspect of Menifee Better Together. Volunteers will participate in community cleanup initiatives to help keep neighborhoods and natural areas free of debris and waste. Cleanup efforts will include:
- Quail Valley Clean-Up and Bulky Item Drop-Off – providing residents with a chance to dispose of large, unwanted items responsibly.
- Paloma Wash Trail Clean-Up – removing litter and improving the natural beauty of a key outdoor space in Menifee.

Creative & Memorial Projects
This year’s event also features a special Creative Project hosted by Girl Scout Troop 354. The Garden Flower Pot Project will serve seniors participating in the Senior Home Revitalization project in the Sun City area. There will also be the Covid Rock Garden which will serve as a touching tribute to those affected by the pandemic, allowing volunteers to contribute to a meaningful and artistic community space.
How to Get Involved
Participants will kick off the morning with a grab-and-go breakfast before checking in to complete their waiver, receive orientation, and learn their assigned project location. Volunteers will also receive a Menifee Better Together T-shirt, while supplies last, as a token of appreciation. After a morning of service, everyone is invited to return to the check-in location for a free BBQ lunch to celebrate their hard work.
Important: Volunteers must provide their own transportation to their designated project sites after check-in.
