Temecula, CA – January 25, 2013 – On behalf of the Board of Directors of Jacob’s House, we are honored to announce an important milestone for our nearly 6-year-old non-profit organization, which was created through tragedy, but is built on the strong foundation of hope, comfort and inspiration.
Jacob’s House is now the proud owner of a 3,800 square foot residential home on 2.3 acres of land located in the Santiago Estates, only 0.6 miles from our new Temecula Valley Hospital.
Similar to a Ronald McDonald House, Jacob’s House will be a home away from home for families who have a loved one in a medical crisis situation at the Temecula Valley Hospital. Our mission is to help and support those families in crisis. While we cannot change the destiny, we can impact the journey for those families.
This significant accomplishment would not have been possible without Mission Oaks National Bank, the Rancho Family Medical Group, Southland Industries, Southwest Healthcare, Paradise Chevrolet, Temecula Mud Run, CR&R, and all our key partners and donors for their on-going support of Jacob’s House.
We also will be planning a large Open House event in the next few months to allow the community to see our new home and rally behind our efforts. We will be requesting assistance to help us furnish and equip our new home. Our goal is to be completely operational once the Temecula Valley Hospital opens in the fall, 2013.
We believe hope lives where visions connect….multiple visions dedicated to one common purpose of helping families in crisis.
