TVCC Presents “Business in Heels” with Keynote Speaker Darcie Harris

On Thursday, September 9, the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC) will present the 2014 Women in Business event, titled, “Business in Heels,” with keynote speaker, Darcie Harris.

 

Darcie Harris is the CEO & Founder EWF International ® and the Alpha Mare Academy™. Known for her warmth and wisdom, Darcie Harris is an international speaker, trainer, and champion for female entrepreneurs and executives.

As CEO and founder of EWF International, a company offering peer advisory groups, coaching and consulting for professional women, Darcie has helped hundreds of women realize their professional dreams. Through the Alpha Mare Academy™, she offers her knowledge and tools to female entrepreneurs worldwide through the web.

In 2010 Darcie was named Oklahoma Women in Business Champion by the Small Business Administration. Her achievements have been recognized by The Oklahoman, who selected her as one of five finalists for Woman of the Year; by the Edmond, OK Chamber of Commerce who selected her as one of three finalists for Woman of the Year; and by WE Magazine when she was named as one of 15 finalists in the WE Magazine for Women cover story competition. The Journal Record selected her as one of their 50 Making a Difference honorees. Oklahoma Hospitality Club recognized her as one of seven Ladies in the News.

Darcie is a respected media resource on women’s leadership and entrepreneurship and a regular editorial columnist for The Journal Record, the Executive Women’s Journal (published by EWF International) and is widely published on the internet. She is certified in Conceptual Foundations of Organizational Lifecycles through the Adizes Graduate School for Organizational Transformation.
Darcie serves on the Advisory Council for Harwood International; the Academic Program Advisory Committee for Oklahoma State University–Oklahoma City; the Leadership Team for the Institute for the
Economic Empowerment of Women; and as a volunteer for Peace Through Business, a program teaching business skills and providing mentors to women in developing countries. In 2009 and 2013, Darcie traveled with Peace Through Business to Kigali, Rwanda, to deliver the graduation keynote and train students.

About the Women in Business Event
The 7th Annual Women in Business event will be held at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa on Thursday, September 9, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The cost to attend this event is $45 per person which will feature 4 speakers and includes breakfast and lunch. There are still sponsorships and expo table available.

In addition to this spectacular event there will be a 3 hour session after the main event with the keynote speaker for an additional $60. This special event will be offered to a limited number of people and will include free access to her E-Course.
