The City of Murrieta has been working for over the past two years to encourage HealthSouth to locate in the North Murrieta Technology Corridor. This area has recently been rezoned by the City Council for Office Research Park development, including health care facilities. The North Murrieta Tech Corridor is already anchored by the Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta and the planned Kaiser Permanente Murrieta Valley 40 acre health care campus.
We are very excited that HealthSouth has announced their plans to develop a 54,000 SF, two-story inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the east side of Whitewood Road near Linnel Lane in Murrieta.
HealthSouth is a nationally renowned medical provider that specializes in brain trauma. The announcement is consistent with the City’s economic development goal to become the key heath care center for the region.
