Azusa Pacific University Informational Meeting for People Interested in Becoming a Teacher, Guidance Counselor, or Principal

People who are interested in becoming teachers, guidance counselors, or principals are invited to learn more about these rewarding careers at a free Graduate/Credential Information Meeting hosted by Azusa Pacific University (APU) Murrieta Regional Center on Thursday, December 11th from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.

The information meeting will provide specific information about APU’s graduate and credential programs, admissions requirements, and application process. Attendees will also hear about financial aid options that are available, as well as scholarship and grant opportunities to fund their studies at APU. The information meeting will take place at Azusa Pacific University’s state-of-the-art regional center located at 40508 Murrieta Hot Spring Road (to the right of Sam’s Club) in Murrieta. A light dinner will be served.

APU offers a combined teacher education credential and master’s degree for those interested in teaching elementary school, middle school, high school, or special education. APU also offers a Masters in Educational & Clinical Counseling for those interested in becoming guidance counselors. For those with teaching or counseling experience that are interested in moving in administration, APU offers a Masters in Educational Leadership/PASC Tier 1 Credential.

 

APU’s teacher education programs are WASC and NCATE accredited, making APU one of only eight private institutions in California with this distinction. APU is in the top 20 schools in the nation in terms of the number of Masters of Education degrees awarded in the last decade.
