Temecula Valley Entrepreneurs Exchange Events for February

The City of Temecula’s Temecula Valley Entrepreneurs Exchange (TVE2) is pleased to announce the following events scheduled for February.

February 11: Google Partners Connect Webinar with Musselwhite Consulting. 9:00-10:30am. Speakers from Google: Todd Rowe, Managing Director Global Channel Sales will speak about “Leveraging Technology to Thrive” – how small businesses can differentiate themselves from their competitors through digital marketing. Fred Vallaeys, AdWords Evangelist, will speak about “Advertise your business online” and how small businesses can navigate the web and expand their online presence through smarter insights. February 11: TVE2 Pitch Practice. 11:30am-1:00pm. Calling all entrepreneurs -tech startups are invited to practice your investor pitch in a fun and friendly environment. All others are invited to watch and interact. Networking and lunch will take place at 11:30am. Pitches will be at noon. Entrepreneurs that pitch will receive feedback from a panel of experts. February 12: Tri-Tech SBDC CEO Storytelling Series. 5:30-7:00pm. Speaker TBD.

February 13: 9:00-11:00am. TVCC Professional Development: Building a Successful Home-Based or Small Business – budgeting and goal setting. Learn how to maximize a small budget and set profitable business goals. This will be presented by Paul Nolta, Inland Empire Small Business Development Center. February 19: IE SBDC Quickbooks for Beginners from 9:00am-12:00pm. Learn how to be more efficient and simplify your bookkeeping using the QuickBooks Accounting Software. This seminar will demonstrate functions useful for daily operations in your small business, setting up your system, navigating the QuickBooks software, organizing the chart of accounts, and managing daily operations including payment of invoices & creation of customer invoices. Board of Equalization: Food Industry Seminar 9:00-11:00am. This will be presented by the State Board of Equalization. Restaurants, Drive-Ins, Food Trucks, Food Vendors – don’t miss this special workshop from the Board of Equalization. Become educated about what foods are taxable and non-taxable, the “80/80 Rule,” and Combo Meals. What’s the law regarding employee meals, gratuities, and coupons?
