Temecula Creek Inn announces new Executive Chef, David Fune. A native of Southern California, Chef David learned an appreciation for culture, etiquette and quality ingredients at an early age – values he instills in his menus today. After attending Portland’s Western Culinary Institute, he grew and expanded his culinary skills throughout Southern California, including working on the opening team for Pechanga and opening a gourmet food truck in LA, meriting national appearances on Food Truck Revolution and the History Channel’s Modern Marvels.
Returning to familiar territory in Temecula as Executive Chef of Temecula Creek Inn, Chef David wants to take Temet Grill to another level. “I plan to run one of the best kitchens and restaurants in the community,” says Chef David. By redefining a modern farm & plant-to-plate approach, his plan is to highlight the flourishing local farms amidst the resort’s elegant setting. Chef David’s menus are now served in Temet Grill.
