The appointment was announced by NLC President Ralph E. Becker, Mayor, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Temecula Mayor Comerchero stated, “Developing and fostering a strong economic foundation for local businesses to prosper is a critical component to Temecula’s past successes and its future.” “There are no accidents when it comes to successful economic development so we plan accordingly; and I am proud to continue to represent Temecula’s economic interests on a national level,” Mayor Comerchero added.
As a member of the Committee since 2001, Mayor Comerchero will continue to play a key role in shaping NLC’s policy positions and advocate on behalf of America’s cities and towns before Congress, with the Administration and home.
