Bob Waysack, Murrieta resident and business owner of Inspect-It 1st Property Inspection, has been elected to the Vice President position of CREIA, California Real Estate Inspection Association, North County San Diego/Temecula Valley Chapter. Waysack will then serve as President of the Chapter for the following 2013-2014 year.
In his new position, Bob will oversee the education efforts of his chapter. CREIA inspectors are held very strict Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics and must obtain 30 hours of CREIA approved continuing education each year. He will arrange for industry related guest speakers to provide relevant information at each of the monthly meetings.
Established in 1976, CREIA is a non-profit trade association, with chapters located throughout the state. CREIA is a member-driven, hands-on organization that provides educational programming and on-going opportunities for its members to interact at both local and statewide CREIA meetings and events. CREIA, along with ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) are the most recognized and respected certifications that a real estate inspector can earn and is the standard for which the State of California follows in determining the outcome of any legal disputes for the inspection industry.
