Darlene Wetton, Chief Operating Officer for the new Temecula Valley Hospital, comes from Corona Regional Medical Center where she had served as Chief Operating Officer since January 2011.
Prior to Corona Regional, she spent 28 years at Alvarado Hospital Medical Center in San Diego where she served as Chief Nursing Officer before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
Darlene Wetton earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and her MBA from Webster University. Darlene has been married to her best friend, Jim, for 34 years, has two children and two beautiful granddaughters.
She is a native Californian and is eager to become an integral part of the Temecula Community.
