“The Coming Jobs War” By Jim Clifton States That The Regrowth Of Our Economy Will Be Done On A Local Level. Murrieta Has Taken Another Step In That Direction.
Jim Clifton describes in his book “The Coming Jobs War” how there is a global jobs war coming and those cities that act first are the ones that will win. The City of Murrieta has been one of those cities to act first. The City will benefit with another step in that direction with the announcement on Tuesday, November 27th at 2:00pm of the relocation plans and new focus for the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce. The Murrieta Chamber of Commerce will be moving in early 2013 to their new home in the Murrieta Spectrum Center at 25125 Madison Ave. Suite 108. With this move the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce will be able to provide more to the business community of Murrieta by enhancing programs for members through workshops and seminars as well as more direct promotion of the members in Murrieta and the surrounding communities.
“The Chamber of Commerce is a very important part of the job creation and retention in Murrieta,” said Murrieta Mayor Doug McAllister. “The City of Murrieta is very pleased with the new direction of our Chamber and we look forward to the partnership that will enable us to better serve the businesses in our community.”
The new home of the Chamber is roughly 3000 square feet with close to 1100 square feet that being conference room area. With the announcement on the 27th, the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce will also expand on the New Focus of the Chamber for 2013 with new programs and events to highlight the Chambers Core Values, which are to Strengthen the Local Economy, Provide Networking Opportunities, Promote the Community, Represent Business to Government and Political Advocacy.
Kay Harrison, Physician Liaison/Community Relations for Southwest Healthcare System and Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce said, “The new location of the Murrieta Chamber will be a game changer for the organization and the community. We are very excited for 2013 in Murrieta.”
