Recycled Fashion Show at Promenade Temecula

Filler - Recycling photoTemecula Recycling and Promenade Temecula will present fashions made from recycled materials in a fashion show geared at exploring the esoteric! The recycled fashion show will take the runway in the JC Penny Center Court on July 7th at 3 pm.

The event will exhibit fashions created from used and recycled materials by talented students from the Art department at Mount San Jacinto College and local designers and artists. These designers have been challenged to produce a fashion item that will feature a variety of recycled materials. The recycled fashions must be made of at least 50% of recycled items and will feature creative uses of such common recyclables as tin cans, metals, plastics, paper and recycled clothing.

This event will also serve as a springboard to encourage other inspiring “fashionistas” to participate in the final round of Promenade Temecula’s third season of PROJECT STYLE, a style contest where fashion savvy shoppers are encouraged to apply their style sensibilities and compete locally, regionally and nationally for cash prizes and a grand prize trip to NYC and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
