Rachel Mason Joins Delta Hospice of Inland Valley

PEOPLE - Rachel MasonRachel’s hospice career began in 1996 as a patient care volunteer/intern at a hospice in Orange County while completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical and Community Psychology at California State University, Fullerton. Hospice is a calling, and it called to her. In 2004, she started working for another local hospice and became very involved in the Temecula and Murrieta communities. Until recently, she was the Executive Director of Community Hospice Services, a non-profit hospice support agency. When the opportunity with Delta Hospice was presented, Rachel jumped at the chance. “I missed the ability to work one-on-one with hospice families. With Delta Hospice I’ll be able to talk directly to patients, their families, and the community,” she said.

Currently Rachel is the President of the Rotary Club of Temecula, and is proud to serve as a member of the Advisory Board for Michelle’s Place – a women’s breast cancer resource center.

Delta Hospice of California is based in Chino, California and is family owned by Vivian and Raymond Obiamalu.

Delta Hospice will be opening their new Temecula office at the end July. We are excited to have our office here, and as a family owned company we can proudly state that we are here to serve our community. We believe that each person’s life is a remarkable journey, and that each moment and phase should be lived in utmost dignity. To this end Delta Hospice admits and cares for all hospice-appropriate patients referred to us regardless of their ability to pay. Delta Hospice can be reached at 888.591.0709.
