Rancho California Water District’s (RCWD/District) Board of Directors hired Jeffrey Armstrong as RCWD’s newest General Manager on October 8th.
Mr. Armstrong has worked for the District since 1988 serving as the Accounting Manager for 10 years, the Chief Financial Officer for 7 years and was appointed Treasurer in April 2010. In February, Mr. Armstrong was appointed Interim General Manager to lead the District during a difficult water supply year.
Prior to working for the District, Mr. Armstrong held various accounting positions in the private industry including a Fortune 100 company. Mr. Armstrong earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach and a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands.
John Hoagland, RCWD’s Board President stated, “On behalf of the entire Board, I am confident that Jeff will provide positive leadership for RCWD. He is an innovative administrator with the knowledge and expertise to facilitate and coordinate District operations and successfully represent RCWD’s policies, programs and services with member districts, community groups, support organizations, and government agencies.”
