Kimberly Davidson, City of Murrieta Business Development Manager, has been named Assembly District 67 “Woman of the Year” by Assembly Member Melissa Melendez, R-Lake Elsinore.
Often working side-by-side with Murrieta Economic Development Director Bruce Coleman, Davidson has made a name for herself as a business leader and volunteer in southwest Riverside County.
In addition to serving as Murrieta’s Business Development Manager, Davidson also serves on the board of directors for the Inland Valley Business Community Foundation and the Find Me Foundation, an organization providing assistance to law enforcement in missing persons cases. She has served on the board of directors for the California Inland Counties American Marketing Association and was a marketing committee member with the Economic Development Corporation of Southwest California. She has served as an ambassador for the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce and was operations manager for the Professional Women’s Roundtable.
“Kimberly has made it her career to help local small businesses thrive,” according to Melendez. “Her passion is rooted in the belief that small businesses are not just a major economic engine, but they are the fiber of our community. It is my honor to name Kimberly Davidson as my woman of the year.”
“I am very honored to receive this award from Assemblywoman Melendez,” Davidson said.
“I truly have a passion for what I do and it feels really good to be recognized for that at such a high level. We want everyone to know that Murrieta’s business-friendly government and entrepreneurial spirit welcomes your business!”
Mrs. Davidson was honored with a Resolution from the Assembly Member recognizing her commitment to the community. The ceremony took place at the Assembly Member’s Community Coffee event on April 8th at The Shamrock Irish Pub & Eatery in Murrieta.
