Coworking Day 2016

Coworking is defined as “the use of an office or other working environment by people who are self-employed or working for different employers, typically so as to share equipment, ideas, and knowledge.”

This is a very astute description of what has been my experience in my three years at Coworking Connection (CWC). All of us here in this space do completely different things, in completely different industries and areas of expertise. But it’s that difference that makes CWC such a great place to work.

One of my fellow Coworkers, John Miles, says, “I love interacting with the other professionals in this space, and leveraging the amenities Coworking Connection provides.”

On August 9th, owner Dione Moser is bringing together some amazing local professionals to give presentations throughout the day. This event is at no charge to the attendee, and of incredible value.

The day begins with breakfast/coffee and networking, then listen to four outstanding speakers, including lunch. Stay at the end for a drink and some networking with the other attendees.

Can’t make the whole day? Register for the spots you CAN make!

Another coworker at CWC, Gunner Hedlund, says, “When I come to Coworking Connection, I have the feeling of entering into an office, as if I have gone to work. This helps me be productive throughout the day.”

The Harvard Business Review explains coworking as “the use of an office or other working environment by people who are self-employed or working for different employers, typically so as to share equipment, ideas, and knowledge. The whole idea of coworking is to bring bright, creative people together and let the ideas collide.”

You should attend Coworking Day on August 9, so you can see for yourself this vibrant office space, hear some wonderful speakers, and meet some of our great community. See you then!
