Professional Women’s Roundtable announces their exciting quarterly Member Showcase meeting.
At this meeting we will get to know select members in more depth. This meeting is always fascinating and creates a wonderful environment for networking. As always, members and guests are encouraged to meet for coffee or lunch outside of our meetings. Kelly Bennett, Esq., Smart Court – Ms. Bennett has been practicing law and serving as a private judge, mediator and arbitrator since 1991. Ms. Bennett founded the Temecula law firm Bennett & Bennett, APC, after graduating from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. Ms. Bennett has over 24 years of trial and professional dispute resolution experience representing individuals in family law cases, and resolving divorce, real estate, business, construction defect and employment disputes as an arbitrator, private judge and mediator.
Ms. Bennett is a two-time bar association president, and is an appointed Judge Pro Tem for the Riverside County Superior Court serving on temporary assignments for the Family Law bench. Ms. Bennett is the first woman ever elected to the Murrieta City Council, where she served from 2006 to 2014 as Mayor, Vice Mayor, and co-chaired the International Relations, Higher Education and Healthcare Subcommittees.
Gillian Larson, Dream it, Believe it, Prepare for it, DO IT ! – Gillian Larson has never satisfied her appetite for adventure and travel despite her wide array of experiences throughout her 69 years. She has traveled through 46 countries and all but a few U.S. states, much of it backpacking. Not only is she versatile, but she is competitive by nature and feels as though she was a perfect fit for the game of SURVIVOR, she applied 20 times and never gave up . She always believed she would one day be selected and was for Gabon…She is an inspiration to young and old alike.
Married 45 years to her husband, Ron, Gillian has three married daughters and seven grandchildren. Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, retired after working as a registered nurse for 41years in many fields, she now devotes her time to making a difference in people’s lives.
Her selection to play Survivor was always driven by her desire to do more with it and when asked “Why” her answer was always “Because I can”.
This meeting is on Thursday, November 3rd from 11:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
RSVP is a must. The cost to attend the luncheon meeting is $20.00 for members and $25.00 for guests.
