SW Riverside County Bar Association ‘Attorney’ and ‘Judicial Officer’ of the Year

The Attorney of the Year is Robin Johnson, who has practiced criminal defense since 1981, handling everything from traffic citations, DUI’S, drug, theft, juvenile, white collar cases, and very serious strike crimes.  Her mission is to debunk the negative image of attorneys that some people have.  To that end she volunteers as an ambassador the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, is membership committee chairman of the chamber, and a power networking panelist. She is on the ‘Women in Business’ committee annually. She enjoys having people shadow her in court, and is the attorney mentor for the city of Temecula’s summer legal intern program. Robin gives free legal advice at all the legal clinics and law days at the Temecula Library.

The Judicial Officer of the Year is Commissioner Bradley Snell.  Commissioner Snell currently is a hearing officer in Hemet where he presides over a family law court, ruling in child custody issues, child and spousal support, restraining orders and property division.  Prior to his 6 years in family law, he presided in criminal and juvenile dependency courts. Since December, 2007, he has presided over the Family Preservation Court, which is a year-long drug treatment program for addicts with children.  It is a highly successful program.  Prior to his becoming a commissioner in 2007 he was a deputy district attorney in Riverside county.
