June 6th: Junior Women’s STEM. 4:00pm – 5:30pm. The city of Temecula is holding a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program that invites middle school girls in the Temecula Valley to come together to listen to individuals who are already active in a STEM career and what they experience in their day to day work; as well as participate in numerous STEM activities. The purpose of this program is in hopes of raising awareness and encouraging female students to pursue a career in STEM. June 18th: Youth Entrepreneur Program. 9:00am – 12:30pm. The City of Temecula will be hosting this summer’s Youth Entrepreneur Summer Program 2018 at the Temecula Valley Entrepreneur’s Exchange. Are you interested in business? Do you want to start your own company? The Youth Entrepreneur Program is a great way to learn about and be a part of the business world. This six-day program spans two weeks and will introduce you to the many different aspects of starting a business. June 19th: Future Physician Leaders. 5:30pm – 7:30pm. The Future Physician Leaders (FPL) program is a long-term summer mentorship program for prospective medical students who also want to fulfill a mission of service to the community. The seven-week summer program is made up of three components: The Leadership Lecture Series, Community Service and Research Project, and Physician Shadowing Rotations.
