January 10th: Restaurant, Food and Alcohol Businesses – Tips from CA BOE and CA ABC Teams. 8:30am – 10:00am. The Restaurant, Food and Alcohol Workshop is a must for those running a restaurant, food truck, catering business, or any type of food vending. Get up to speed about what foods are taxable and non-taxable, the “80/80 Rule,” and tax ability of combo meals. Then the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control will provide valuable information to anyone selling, or considering selling alcohol.
