NMA’s CEO Heather Petersen to Speak on “The Current State of Digital Transactions” at the CES Digital Money Forum

National Merchants Association, a bankcard leader and merchant advocacy group, today announced that its CEO Heather Petersen will speak on “The Current State of Digital Transactions” panel at the CES Digital Money Forum. The panel is being held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall, Room N259. 

Petersen will share her extensive knowledge on how money is moved digitally in the millions of daily transactions made by individuals and global companies and the vast diversity in consumer payment preference. She is joined by moderator Alistair Croll, entrepreneur, author and visiting executive at Harvard Business School, as well as panelists Michael Lawlor, chief services officer at USA Technologies; Michael Ward, CEO at World First USA; and Matt Schultz, senior industry analyst at CreditCards.com.

“At CES Digital Money Forum, we will educate the audience on the changing landscape of digital transactions, from mobile pay and Card Not Present transactions to the current state of EMV chip card adoption,” said Heather Petersen, CEO, National Merchants Association. “Attendees will gain insights on how the evolution in digital transactions affects their businesses and how to take advantage of the changing environment.”
