Coldwell Banker Commercial Sudweeks Group is pleased to announce the expansion on their Asset Management Division with the addition of John Whitson, J.D. Mr. Whitson brings well over 15 years of Commercial Real Estate Management experience to his position as Managing Director at CBC Sudweeks Group.
John Whitson was previously with Axiom, Inc., as the Director of Retail Operations. He was responsible for overseeing 9 Property Management and Operations teams, where his portfolio included numerous retail properties totaling over 2 million square feet. Mr. Whitson brings a hands-on approach in all areas of asset management, including construction management, property accounting for new and existing properties, creating and implementing long/short term strategic asset management plans, and management team technical trainings, in addition to the day-to-day operations involved in all avenues of asset management.
Prior to his time at Axiom, Inc., Mr. Whitson was employed by Across America where he was the Director of Retail Properties, managing a portfolio of over 5 million square feet in CA, WA, OR, TX, and CO. John is LEED certified and an expert in reducing operating expenses. He received his BS degree from Newport University and a Law degree from LaSalle University.
