At 38 years of age Henry Ford helped start the Henry Ford Company that became the Cadillac Automotive Company. As 39 years of age he started Ford & Malcomson, Ltd. which became the Ford Motor Company. Our country’s history is full of men and women who have made huge impacts on our lives at early stages in their lives.
This valley that we live in has some special individuals like Henry Ford. There are entrepreneurs, philanthropists, educators and many more that are doing phenomenal things that make this area a great place to work, play and live. The Murrieta Chamber of Commerce is planning an event that will honor and encourage 40 local business leaders under the age of 40 for their career achievements and community involvement.
The Murrieta Chamber invites the public to nominate individuals for the ‘Forty Under 40’ awards dinner. The nominees must be under 40 years of age as of February 21, 2013. They must live and/or work in the Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula or Wildomar area, but are not required to be members of the named chambers.
The ‘Forty Under 40’ honorees will be judged on their outstanding achievements and community services impact. All nominees will be filtered through a two part process. First, the individual must be nominated by someone in the community. Nomination forms are available on the Murrieta Chamber website, www.murrietachamber.org. Second, each nominee will be evaluated by a panel of top professional community leaders on the following categories: Reason for nomination, Career Achievements, Community Involvement and Awards & Recognition.
You can join in honoring the ‘Forty Under 40’ on Thursday, February 21st at 6:30pm at the Lake Elsinore Storm Diamond Club. Tickets are available for $40 per person online at www.murrietachamber.org or by calling 951-677-7916. Sponsor opportunities are also available.
“This world demands the qualities of youth; not a time of life but a state of mind, a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the life of ease.”
